Petrobras' FPSO vessel Petrobras 70 (P-70) has sailed out of COOEC's yard in Qingdao, China on 3 December.
The FPSO is expected to arrive in Brazil by the end of January 2020. Last March, the FPSO hull with a length of 316 m and width of 74 m was towed from COSCO's Changxing yard in Shanghai, where it was built. Integration, hook-up and commissioning work on FPSO P-70 was completed at COOEC's Qingdao yard. The unit, capable of processing 150,000 b/d, will be installed at Atapu field offshore Brazil. Petrobras plans first oil from the floater in 2020. The Atapu field is located in the Transfer of Rights area, operated by Petrobras with a 100% interest.
