Petrobras' FPSO P-70 had its mooring lines broken during a storm, displacing the floater close to shore in the Guanabara Bay.

The FPSO arrived in Brazil last week following its journey from COOEC's yard in Qingdao, China. The situation is already under control, but no further information was disclosed on whether the incident will delay ongoing commissioning activities and subsequent mobilisation to the Atapu field, where it will be deployed. The unit, capable of processing 150,000 b/d, is expected to come online in 2020. The Atapu field is located in the Transfer of Rights area, operated by Petrobras with a 100% interest.
