Golar LNG continues to progress discussions for the potential expansion of the FLNG Hilli Episeyo.

The FLNG came online at Perenco's Cameroon FLNG project in March 2018 and has been operating with 100% commercial uptime, with 47 cargoes offloaded. Golar has also advised that it anticipates operator Perenco to start a drilling campaign before the end of the first quarter of 2021 in order to prove additional reserves which could potentially increase the utilisation of the FLNG Hilli Episeyo.

In the meantime, the contractor and Perenco and SNH has agreed on the amendment to the liquefaction tolling agreement (LTA), which removes the 500 bcf cap on the contract volume. The FLNG was contracted to produce 1.2 million tonnes of LNG per annum over an eight-year period from Sanaga Sud and Ebome fields, offshore Cameroon, for Société Nationale des Hydrocarbures (SNH) and Perenco Cameroon SA.
