The FPSO Liza Unity is targeted to set sail from Singapore in August or September, and is expected to arrive in Guyana by end-2020.

As previously reported, the topsides lifting campaign was concluded in March at Keppel FELS shipyard in Singapore. Integration and onboard commissioning activities are currently ongoing. The Liza Unity FPSO is the first of SBM Offshore's Fast4Ward hulls, and once delivered will be capable of producing 220,000 b/d. The floater will be part of the Liza Phase 2 project, increasing daily production in the area to up to 340,000 b/d. First oil is scheduled for 2022.

The Liza field sits in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana at a water depth of approximately 1,600 m (5,250 ft). ExxonMobil is the operator of the block with a 45% interest, in partnership with Hess (30%) and CNOOC (25%).
